edit

Hello, I'm Hadal. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Balochistan, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Please note: This also applies to media in articles such as the image you added, which was an altered version of the CIA-sourced image. The altered image has no credentials. Hello, the picture is quite clear that the entire province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, which is completely Pashtun, and the northern province of Baluchistan, I don't need to include a source or a document, but I will try again. Please edit the photo to my version. The photo is completely correct, wherever this photo is. The agreement you made is wrong and the northern areas of Balochistan of Pakistan are under the control of the Pashtuns, and the northern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, which is in the neighborhood of Afghanistan, are Pashtuns and are located on both sides of the Durand Line. You absolutely DO need to include a source, especially when making a potentially controversial change like this. You can't simply edit properly sourced images (in this case, from the US's CIA) without any attribution. You must provide sources for any substantive edits. Please see Wikipedia:Citing sources and make sure you understand our policies before editing further. Thanks. Hadal (talk) 20:30, 24 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
In my opinion, you should look at the map of kpk

The Hazara section are Pashtun people in the neighborhood of Azad Kashmir, who speak Pashto and the second language of Hindko. They have completely conquered there. Punjabis are not even a single Punjabi resident there. In the south, we see that you are Balochistan.  Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party , centered in Quetta, including parts like Zhob division, Loralai Division, is in control of the Pashtuns in these parts, and I have included a map that they are actually present in the regions, this map is completely with sources and writings in Wikipedia and  All media are not compatible. Please review the articles related to Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan. Thanks Nawidmo (talk) 21:12, 24 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
I think we should make sure we're on the same page here:
I'm not an expert on the region and claim no special knowledge. While you do appear to claim knowledge, and perhaps even authority(?) on the subject, this is not enough to validate your edits. That's now how Wikipedia works. To be clear, I'm not saying you're incorrect -- I'm saying that you need to provide reliable sources to support your edits. This is especially true in articles like Balochistan that can be a flashpoint for edit warring and the erosion of NPOV.
You are welcome to make changes that you believe will improve Wikipedia, but you must provide reliable sources for these changes. I am not here to test your knowledge, as long as your sources seem credible and unbiased. That said, be aware that even with sources there may be editors who disagree with you, and for valid reasons. That's why, as a new editor wading into a big change like this, it might be better for you to propose changes to the article on the article's talk page: Talk:Balochistan. Does that make sense? --Hadal (talk) 21:25, 24 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
