Welcome to Wikipedia, Nana Anna! Thank you for your contributions. I am Kerry Raymond and I have been editing Wikipedia for some time, so if you have any questions feel free to leave me a message on my talk page. You can also check out Wikipedia:Questions or type {{help me}} at the bottom of this page. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

Also, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name using four tildes (~~~~); that will automatically produce your username and the date. I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Kerry (talk) 05:20, 24 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

As I am sure you know with family history, often we find inconsistent information. The general answer is to simply put both "facts" each with the sources that support it. As in

He conducted the Choral Union in the first Queensland inter-city Eisteddfod, which was held in Brisbane in either 1888 [citations supporting 1888] or 1889 [citations supporting 1889].

That makes it clear there is conflicting information to the reader and does not misinform them.

By the way, if you want to Talk to me, you can just go to User talk:Kerry Raymond and click on "New section" and just write what you want to say (alas the Visual Editor does not work on talk pages but just write text and paste URLs etc and you will get your message across). You "sign" by writing 4 tildes (that is, ~~~~) which will display your user name and the date/time for you, when you hit SAVE. And you have my email address on the business card.
