Howdy and welcome to Wikipedia. It is perhaps not the best way I can introduce myself, but I wanted to let you know I nominated the page you created, Justyn Gruesome, for deletion per the proposed deletion process, and a related page, Streetband Hardcore for speedy deletion.
To give you a little bit of background, there are three deletion processes on Wikipedia:
- Speedy deletion (meaning deletion in a few minutes),
- proposed deletion (five days, if not contested), and
- article for deletion (seven days, for contested proposed deletions).
Speedy deletion follows criteria for speedy deletion, while proposed deletion and article for deletion follow a wider range of policies (see WP:BIO).
I see, as I write this, that you have removed the speedy deletion notice from the Streetband Hardcore article. Please do not remove it. An admin will determine if the material is notable; if you feel you need to discuss further the notability, put a {{hangon}} tag below the speedy notice and explain on the talk page.
I also notice that you have removed the prod tag from the Justyn Gruesome (which you are welcome to do). As such, I will go forward with an article for deletion. Please do not remove the AfD tag.
Feel free to write a note on my talk page if I can help with anything. I have attahced a welcome message below this, since it has some useful links. Thanks, --TeaDrinker 02:48, 13 March 2006 (UTC)
