- Siddiqsazzad001 - What I'd actually do if I were you... instead of simply reverting everything just because the user is a confirmed sock puppet, take a look at the edits made - do they need to be reverted? We don't want to restore lyrics if they should be removed - especially if you take into account concerns that they might be copyright violations by keeping them... ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 22:51, 3 June 2018 (UTC)

- Siddiqsazzad001 - Sorry, I probably should have added my thoughts alongside my response instead of just answering your question :-). If you find that the edits you reverted should be changed back (the removal of the lyrics added), just use rollback on your reversion and that will fix it. - Siddiqsazzad001 - Yes, I believe that song's lyrics are public domain. Wikipedia's policy on its purpose and what isn't says, "Most song lyrics published after 1922 are protected by copyright; any quotation of them must be kept to a minimum". We just need to be careful that we're not restoring copyright violations and that the edits made to each article involved reflects best practices is all :-) ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 23:10, 3 June 2018 (UTC)

- Siddiqsazzad001 - Wait... when you say that you "only reverted those edits that lyrics published after 1922", are you saying that you removed lyrics from articles if the songs were made after 1922, or that you restored the lyrics removed from articles if they were made after 1922?
