Dear Elkman

Thank you for the pointers. I am not clear whether Shelburne Museum is part of the National Register or not; I am assuming it is not as it is a museum. Musuems typically do not fall into the national register as the buildings are not in their original locations. From my research, it seems that the buildings at the Shelburne Museum were moved there. I am not very knowledgable about the town of Shelburne, Vermont and whether it has buildings that fall into the National Register. Feel free to contact me if you find out further information on historic properties in Shelburne!

I noticed you've been creating several articles about historic properties in the Shelburne, Vermont area. Are any of these listed on the National Register of Historic Places? Are they part of a historic district? (There appears to be a Shelburne Village Historic District listed on the National Register, but I don't know offhand which of these buildings are contributing properties to the district.) If some or all of the buildings are on the National Register, it would be useful to mention that in the article. There's an infobox that can be added to those articles to indicate that they're on the National Register. I'm part of Wikipedia:WikiProject National Register of Historic Places and it's always useful to get people writing about historic buildings. Even if they aren't on the National Register, the articles are still useful. Happy editing! --Elkman (Elkspeak) 21:20, 27 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of The Charlotte Meeting House

edit

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article The Charlotte Meeting House, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

non-notable structure.

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Account use

edit

Hi,

You appear, based on your user page, to be a group of editors. Note that accounts are meant to be attached to single people - each account is used by one person. You also appear to be related to the Shelburne Museum. Please ensure you are not in conflict of interest before editing. Also note that pages must be notable - pages like Kalkin House (now a redirect) are of dubious notability, and further was a substantial coatrack for the architect, and one that seemed quite self-promoting. Settlers' House

edit

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Settlers' House, and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: Settlers House. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally moving or duplicating content, please be sure you have followed the procedure at Wikipedia:Splitting by acknowledging the duplication of material in edit summary to preserve attribution history.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 15:06, 27 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Dear Coren Search Bot,

Settlers' house was misspelled- it was spelled Settlers house on the Shelburne Museum page. I tried to change it but ended up with two pages- one under Settlers' house and the other under Settlers house. They both have the same inforamtion but Settlers house needs to be deleted due to the misspelling of the name. Any asisstance would be greatly appreciated!

NMThorne.

Proposed deletion of Weaving Shop

edit

The article Weaving Shop has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unnotable part of a museum

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
