A tag has been placed on North East LGBT Conference, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the article and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. -- Shadowlynk (Talk) 07:11, 2 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

The information on this page was formatted by Connare Tech and then after submission to wikipedia Connare Tech subsequently used the same info on the official web site for this event under the about history. I am unsure how this is copyright when copyright is held by the publisher? If you could please help me to correct this issue. NELGBTC (talk) 07:16, 2 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Under the Wikipedia copyrights I am the publisher and hold the copyright to the material, because I produced it myself, I retain copyright to my own materials. I can than later republish and relicense them in any way I like, and have done so by publishing it on the North East LGBT Conference web site. I can however also provide a link to the wikipedia article in order to verify the contents authenticity in the web site and vice versa. Would this solve the discrepancy?
