Ribbon Hopf Algebras Hi I've added the antipode in the list of elements at the end of the page. It appears throughout this short page, but the reference I use more often than not assumes that you have built up to the Ribbon Hopf algebra and that you know what the antipode is. Race and POV edit

Hello. Not sure what you're talking about, as what I've done mostly is reverting changes that did not have consensus or that were too much at the same time. I have hardly touched the article in over a week now... So, can you please point me to where I was "pushing my POV", please?--Ramdrake 18:27, 31 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

It was a general statement. You are rank with POV and you damn well know it. Please try to be more objective. Myrkkyhammas 09:18, 3 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Wikimania in Atlanta! edit

Hi! I noticed your involvement on U.S. South-related articles, categories and WikiProjects, and I wanted to let you know about a bid we're formulating to get next year's Wikimania held in Atlanta! If you would like to help, be sure to sign your name to the "In Atlanta" section of the Southeast team portion of the bid if you're in town, or to the "Outside Atlanta" section if you still want to help but don't live in the city or the suburbs. If you would like to contribute more, please write on my talk page, the talk page of the bid, or join us at the #wikimania-atlanta IRC chat on freenode.org. Have a great day!

P.S. While this is a template for maximum efficiency, I would appreciate a note on my talk page so I know you got the message, and what you think. This is time-sensitive, so your urgent cooperation is appreciated. :) Mike H. I did "That's hot" first! 01:22, 4 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fascism in the politcal spectrum edit

The RfC on Fascism#Fascism in the political spectrum has now run one month and there are now two versions of the intro para:

Most scholars do not find the terms right and left very useful with regard to fascism, which incorporated elements of both left and right, rejected the main currents of leftist and rightist politics, and attracted adherents from both ends of the political spectrum. Hence, fascism can be called sui generis. Some scholars do place fascism squarely on the right or left.
Most academics describe fascism as extreme right, radical right, far right or ultra right; some calling it a mixture of authoritarian conservatism and right-wing nationalism. However, there exists a dissenting view that fascism represents radical centrism. Moreover, a number of writers highlight aspects of some types of fascist ideology which may typically be associated with the left.

Could you please comment at Talk:Fascism#RfC.

Following this RfC, there is currently a proposal regarding the issue of whether or not it is appropriate to characterise fascism as "right-wing".
Even if you don't have much to say, it would be useful if you could let your view be known in order to help guide the discussion towards some sort of conclusion.
Please take a look: here.
Thank you. --FormerIP (talk) 23:04, 21 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

WP:CITE edit

re this edit of yours, I can assure you that drudkh not only isn't a Sanskrit word for "wood", it isn't a Sanskrit word at all. If somebody worth quoting at some point claimed it was "the Sanskrit word for wood", you are free to add this with proper citation. It will still not be true, but it may at least be interesting to document who came up with this thing. --dab (𒁳) 13:53, 1 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

You should at least leave a note on the talk page before scrapping something that's sparked a good deal of debate.
I am changing the language to explicitly express that "drudkh" is not the word for "wood" or "tree" in Sanskrit - though if you'd bothered to actually read my edit, you'd see that I did not say this because, like you said, it is not true. It is obvious from the links provided that "drudkh" is derived from some (likely misinterpreted) Indo-Iranian root for "wood" or "tree."
You can check them out if you like. Or just Google "Sanskrit dictionary" to find any one of the many online Sanskrit dictionaries. You will find in most of them a word for "wood" whose root is d-r, d-r-u, or d-r-[t/d]. I don't know why you're so interested in removing this fact from the article. It's a pretty minor point.
If it will soothe your ego and you are unwilling to admit that the word actually is some sort of corruption of a legitimate Sanskrit word or root, we can always change the language to reflect the fact that "drudkh" was at least thought by Saenko, at the time when he was starting the band, to be the Sanskrit word for "wood." Sigh. Myrkkyhammas (talk) 16:02, 11 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

WikiProject Cleanup invitation edit

I've formatted the WikiProject Cleanup page to include members for those that are interested in joining, similar to how other projects have members. Since you've contributed relatively recently to the project's list page, I formally extend this invitation to join WikiProject Cleanup! I've also created a userbox template for members to use on their user pages. Thank you for your contributions to help improve Wikipedia! Northamerica1000(talk) 08:39, 9 February 2012 (UTC)Reply
