Zebibytes and ZFS

Hi, it's been a while since I edited the ZFS page. As far as I can tell, the current size displayed is correct, since $2^{128}\approx 256\cdot 10^{15}\cdot 1024^{7}$. I will edit the Zebibyte page accordingly. Myconix (talk) 17:38, 17 April 2017 (UTC)

Progressivism edits

Hi. I removed your addition of "...linked to eugenics" from Progressivism because it was cited poorly, though I don't object to including a description of the link between early progressive movement and eugenics itself (the article already elaborated on some of these details in the body). All of the sources you had originally included were op-eds: two were from larger news outlets which explicitly labeled the pieces as opinion/commentary (CNSNews and the Washington Post) and the other two (The Federalist, FEE) were editorials from commentary sites which do little to no journalism or historical analysis. As WP:NEWSORG states, opinion pieces are rarely reliable for statements of fact; they can be used to represent the range of viewpoints on several issues, but they are highly inappropriate for citing specific factual claims in the lead of an important article. None of this should be taken to mean that the specific claim cited was false -- indeed, many other reliable sources can demonstrate it convincingly, including the journal article you later provided. I've added some academic sources supporting (Freeden's Liberal Languages goes into a pretty lengthy description of the connection) in place of the previous ones, so ultimately this should be of little consequence unless you are particularly convinced any of the previous sources were important. —0xf₈e₈ (t♥lk) 22:43, 26 November 2017 (UTC)
