Welcome!

Hello, Mychicken4444, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{help me}} on this page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!--Mishae (talk) 20:25, 18 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

Politically-driven edits

edit

Based on your edits, it seems the primary purpose of your work on Wikipedia is to promote your political views. This is not how we do things here. If you feel strongly about the issue of North vs. South Korea, I suggest you refrain from editing any articles related to this topic. Instead, work on articles where you can maintain a neutral point of view.

I also urge you to stop your disruptive practice of making substantial edits and labelling them as "fix typo". Such behaviour is not a sign of good faith editing, and will eventually get you blocked from editing. Owen× 22:20, 19 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

Please refrain from making nonconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at User:OwenX with this edit. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism can result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Amaury (talk) 23:01, 19 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to User:OwenX with this edit, you may be blocked from editing. —Darkwind (talk) 23:01, 19 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for persistent vandalism. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Owen× 23:17, 19 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

A typo is a spelling or typographical error. "North Hwanghae Province" did not turn into "Gyeonggi Province" due to a mistake made during the process of typing. If you wish to correct what you believe are factual mistakes and have the sources to back those, please do so. But if you keep making content changes under the guise of "fixing typos", you will not be allowed to continue editing. Wikipedia is a collaborative effort; deception will get you nowhere. Sockpuppet investigation

edit

Hi. An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Mychicken4444, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.
