Adding categories to biographies of living people

edit

I notice that you are adding Scientology-related categories to biographies of living people. You should read WP:BLPCAT. The short version - in order to add categories about someone's religious beliefs or sexual orientation, you need a reliable source with the subject identifying themselves as, in this case, a Scientologist. Note that Scientology web sites are not considered reliable sources. One site that you have used (www.truthaboutscientology.com) has been discussed more than once and the consensus is that it should not be used as a source. Thanks. I've started a discussion here. You are welcome to comment. Delicious carbuncle (talk) 23:16, 14 December 2011 (UTC)Reply
You are clearly not in favor of discussion, since you and and another user essentially ganged up on me and reverted my edits wholesale - an absolute travesty and violation of WP policy. My edits are legitimate, my sources are legitimate, and I will open up an arbitration in time if you continue. I am going to research the hell out of WP policy and arbitration policy and I will open up a case against you and your friend. My Name Is Terl (talk) 09:54, 15 December 2011 (UTC)Reply
Start you research by reading the WP:BLP policy, with special attention to the WP:BLPCAT section. Repeat as necessary. Delicious carbuncle (talk) 14:40, 15 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hi - there is a report about some of your desired additions at the WP:BLPN - please comment there - thanks - Youreallycan (talk) 00:23, 15 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

reliable sources for wikipedia

edit

this www.truthaboutscientology.com/stats/by.../a/alexandra-powers.html is not a WP:RS - as a new user please take your time, stop replacing disputed content into articles about living people. Also please read and understand WP:BLPCAT and on a wider note our overall policy regarding content about living people - WP:BLP - Youreallycan (talk) 10:11, 15 December 2011 (UTC)Reply
