Refurbished loudspeakers

edit

Please don't add your link to the page about the refurbished Tannoys. It's not relevant to the fame of Trident Studios unless an uninvolved WP:SECONDARY observer says so. Binksternet (talk) 15:19, 12 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hi there.
Many thanks for getting in touch. I hope we can make this work.
I can see your point to a degree if the page didn't have the sub heading about the monitoring loudspeakers. But it does and they are part of the history of the Loudspeakers sub heading and its a matter of fact.
Not much exists from Trident, so this is historically relevant.
Can you see my point here? I've been in touch with Lockwood and they can confirm it.
This is not an attempt of promotional value, I'm giving the readers facts about the loudspeakers which is fact.
I'm only trying to give the page more in-depth information and I hope you can see that it's relevant to the sub-heading.
Please let me know your thoughts.

... oh and they're not refurbished. They're all original apart from the replaced crossovers and are stamped 'Trident'. Musical Mainline (talk) 15:36, 12 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
You've also been violating WP:MULTIPLE by editing as several different usernames: User:Themainman and User:Themainman007 at least.
And you have been violating WP:No original research by adding your own analysis.[1]
The term "refurbished" includes such things as replacing aging electronics or reconing the drivers so that they can be used as intended.
You appear to have been using Wikipedia as your personal webpage, to describe aspects of Trident Studios that are not part of the literature on the topic. Wikipedia pages are supposed to be a summary of published thought, and uninvolved secondary sources are preferred and considered definitive. Binksternet (talk) 15:51, 12 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
I beg your pardon.
I've not been using multiple usernames... How dare you. I think you should take a look at the edit listings. My name is Musical Mainline and I've only ever edited using that username. I've never heard of the other usernames you listed.
The term 'refurbished' also means to bring something back to use. Which is what I've done. No other work has been done apart from that. If you read my article, you will see that.
My sources have been none only than the original company who supplied the speakers to Trident in the first place. That is, I believe solid enough for my article to be listed.
All I've done is to include 1 (uno, one) article which gives more depth to the sub heading within the wiki page and it totally fits the litrature of the page. It's about that and nothing else.
If you have seen something on my article which is violating this, please let me know and I can edit it to apease you. I am open to dialog to get my article to fit within this sub heading.
I am Musical Mainline, nobody else.
Now let's at least find a way forward with this.
Many thanks Musical Mainline (talk) 14:51, 13 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
