• Please review some of our flowcharts (1, 2) to help ensure you don't forget any required steps.
• Use the message feature to communicate with article creators and offer advice as much as possible.

Possible character articles

T. Hawk and El Fuerte (from Street Fighter series) seem to have a high chance of having an standalone article. These two documents can be helpful for notability. Digital Narratives and Linguistic Articulations of Mexican Identities in Emergent Media: Race, Lucha Libre Masks and Mock Spanish (see page no 75—80) and Digital Mexican: Visual Representation In Video Games (see page no 55—63). SW character articles

Hey there! Just a quick question for you. Could you please explain why you added the "needs additional citations" template to the various Star Wars character pages? Looking over the pages, I notice a few small gaps in sourcing, but not major ones that would warrant the template (in my view). Wafflewombat (talk) 22:12, 2 July 2024 (UTC)

@Wafflewombat: For lack of a better template (notability would be inappropriate because we all know Darth Vader is notable), the template is meant to convey that the articles are lacking mandatory content, namely cultural impact. - Cukie Gherkin (talk) 22:14, 2 July 2024 (UTC)

I understand where you're coming from, but to the average editor it's not clear what you're trying to convey with the template. I notice the template on Leia already got removed. It would be better, in my humble opinion, if you removed those templates and made posts on the talk pages, like you did with Vader.

I'm also curious what you mean by "mandatory" content. Isn't content only mandatory during a formal nomination? Wafflewombat (talk) 22:50, 2 July 2024 (UTC)

For what it's worth, Leia was a mistag on my part. I may open a WikiProject discussion tomorrow to link to, such that it can be handled in a more centralized way. -
