Speedy deletion of Hegeon

edit

A tag has been placed on Hegeon requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for musical topics.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Welcome...

Hello, Mrluthor, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there.

I hope this welcome offsets the rather brusque warning about inappropriate pages above! If your page is deleted, you might like to have a look at this page which may suggest why. One of the most frequent reasons for deletion is that a subject fails to meet these criteria for notability - in the case of a band there are quite clear criteria, such as entering the charts of the country involved, or being the subject of media reports. Alternatively, a notable subject may just not be properly verified with in-line citations. If you need help with getting an article drafted, and want to stop it being deleted, click on the bit after my signature that says (talk) Kim Dent-Brown (Talk) 12:34, 7 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of File:Hegeon.JPG

edit

The file File:Hegeon.JPG has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unused personal photo. Out of scope.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. --Minorax«¦talk¦» 04:57, 13 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
