Lake McDonald and the water treatment plant

edit

I understand you are trying to be helpful, but adding/updating information into Wikipedia requires a citation. Now, I added that information about the water treatment plant and provided the citation. If you want to update it because the name/address has changed, that's fine, but you need to add a citation showing the new name/address to justify the changes. Also you don't delete any citations just because they are deadlinks (ok to do it if you've replaced it with an equivalent live link), but in this case it wasn't a complete deadlink as it had an archive link present and in some situations it may be behind a paywall which you can't access but other can, etc. Unless your new citations cover every point supported by the original citation, it's generally best to leave the original citation in place. Does this make sense? So please if you have a citation to the new name, please update it and add the citation. Kerry (talk) 08:49, 24 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
