"About Me"

Hi, Mostwantedfreak! You asked on my talk page how I made the "About Me" box on my user page. Each of the boxes in the table is a userbox - there are hundreds of different userboxes, and you can find many of them from this page. To create the frame around the userboxes I used the codes {{userboxtop|About me}} and {{userboxbottom}}, with the actual userbox codes between. (That's also explained on the page I linked to.)

One thing about posting on people's talk pages: If you put four tildes after the post, like this: ~~~~, your user name and a time stamp will automatically be added to the post. Please do that when you post to talk pages, to make it easier to see who has posted what.

SHADOW PLAYS AND GAMELANS By Joey Shadow plays have been around for a long time and tell of stories that are well known from long ago. They are believed to have started in china and the indonesian islands of bali and java. Gamelans play along to the shadow plays and often consist of percussion instruments. There are about ten players in a gamelan. Another name for a shadow play is shadow puppetry. In indonesia shadow plays are called wayang kulit and they can last up to six hours, thats half a day. They use leather for the puppets. A name for a gamelan is a pinpeat. The pinpeat is so important that the instruments that are used in the gamelan are carved in the wall of the Angkor Wat. Shadow plays are still preformed today mostly at temple ceremonies, in private, and for the public in the closest small village. The plays often tell about battles between good and evil where the good side always win and the bad side runs away but then the bad side comes back to try again. Shadow plays are considered the one of the earliest forms of animatiom and are very education and fun at the same time.
