Reconquista (Mexico)

edit

Hey amigo. Bienvenido antes que nada. I notice your efforts on the Reconquista article. But be careful, ese, what you've done might be considered getting close to the 3RR rule. Best thing to do is to be calm, let the vandals do what they want, and come back and revert later, or maybe warn the vandals and see if you can get someone else to revert if its really bad. Of course, if they adequately defend their edits, try and see if their contributions can be accomodated within the context of the article. Just want to say keep trucha, and happy editing, --Rockero 04:41, 18 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

I really think this is one vandal. What upsets me is that I don't think this is the only article he's done this to either. I've been swayed though, what I thought was just a kooky conspiracy theory could have some merit with the right kind of research. Look on the archived discussion page, dude, and you'll see that I wasn't the only one to be swayed. I have extended a compromise though, which you might not like judging by your past wikis. I've mentioned on the talk page too if you look closely. I think any accusations of reconquista should include the accuser's names or group affiliation along with a specific party who has been accused of it. It cuts down on the "some people accuse some other people" stuff that plagued past incarnations of the article. Anonymous is a little less hate filled (hard to tell I know) but I think he'll take the civil rights bashing someplace else in exchange for getting to edit the article. Compromise truly does mean everyone loses, eh ese? Mosquito-001 05:00, 18 January 2006 (UTC)Reply
I agree. If you google Reconquista Mexico the top sites are VDARE, American Patrol, the usual suspects. No MEChA, NCLR, etc. My only point is that this is not a word used by Mexican American orgs. As long as that carries, I'll be happy. I'd rather have a good, well-researched and sourced article, because if everyone's opinions are accounted for, the article is less likely to be vandalized. But with these topics, especially when they have emotionally- and politically-charged titles, there is bound to be problems. Which is why I suggested a rename. But maybe if we can reach a reasonable compromise, we can throw a controversial template on there and encourage discussions about changes on the talk page, and it will help, i think, at least a little. I feel bad that I got drawn into the mess into the first place, but, que se puede hacer?--Rockero 05:10, 18 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

Paranormal Activities in Mexico

Here is a link to the "Flying Humanoids" reference on Jeff Rense's Home page. This is the Flying Humanoids Link Martial Law 22:57, 18 January 2006 (UTC) :)Reply

Did you read the link about the attack on the police officer? Mexico seems to have us beat by a long shot, as far as cool aliens go! Mosquito-001 23:08, 18 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

Politics

edit

I don't care for politics at all. Martial Law 04:36, 5 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

Yes, all someone in power has to do is do something really stupid, and as a result, you and I would end up on the front lines of a idiotic war. That is one reason I monitor the news.

Jeff Rense has some material that claims that if anyone protests any war, incl. the current situation with Iraq, they'll be treated as criminals. Go to the Jeff Rense article and/or go to Jeff Rense's Homepage to see some of this kind of material. Martial Law 03:40, 6 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

Are you a environmentalist ? If so, the FBI is watching you, to take you down. That is also on Jeff Rense's website. Martial Law 03:47, 6 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

Michael Savage

edit

Read the Michael Savage article, but look for a depiction of his book that states:Liberalisim Is a Mental Illness. He implies if you are a liberal, you are mentally ill and in need of a shrink to make you overcome your mental illness. Martial Law 01:44, 15 April 2006 (UTC) :)Reply

The book is Liberalisim Is A Mental Disorder. See the Michael Savage article, Re.: Writings. Martial Law 01:46, 15 April 2006 (UTC) :)Reply

If you like, go to Michael Savage's website and see what he has been doing. Warning:Some Images may be graphic, such as the beheading of American personnel, other foreign nationals. Martial Law 02:00, 15 April 2006 (UTC) :)Reply

Another example why I don't like politics, because some idiot will get us into some war. Martial Law 02:02, 15 April 2006 (UTC) :)Reply

I have found the originating source that Glenn has posted on his site. This source is Frontpagemag.com. Martial Law 02:24, 15 April 2006 (UTC) :)Reply

This is the source of the article that you found that claims that there may be a Mexican War II. Martial Law 02:31, 15 April 2006 (UTC) :)Reply

Yet another reason I dislike politics. This mess will get us into another war. Humanity is a idiot. Martial Law 02:41, 15 April 2006 (UTC) :)Reply

Look at Humanity's history. Its one bloody war after another. Martial Law 02:44, 15 April 2006 (UTC) :)Reply

3RR response

edit

I am not nor ever was even close to a 3RR violation. You should at least read the policy before threatening me with it, especially when in the process of pov pushing. Just a friendly tip, TheKaplan 16:58, 21 August 2006 (UTC)Reply
