I haven't used this account in a long time. The last time I used this account was 3-4 years ago, and I was young then. Back then I didn't really know much about Wikipedia and the rules because I was new. In some ways I sort of am still new. But since then I've read up on the Wikipedia's rules and I now understand why these rules are in place. I'd like another chance to prove that I can make a positive change. Things I'll do differently are that I'll edit articles on topics that deal with matters that are close to me and that are personal to me and that I relate to, because I feel that I can raise awareness by adding my contributions to those articles based on some of my experiences. Let me see ... You were unblocked about a week or so ago after about two years, following about a year or so of fairly regular and increasingly lengthy blocks. You immediately—no, not immediately, you waited a week or so—rewarded us for our forgiveness by blanking the Main Page talk page. At this point I don't really care what else you have to say for yourself; it's a waste of time to read it. As our patience has been utterly wasted on you. I think you're being rather unfair. In your guide to appealing blocks, it clearly states that "you must show that you understand why you were blocked and and that you won't do it again." I think I've made convincing reasons explaining and showing that I've learned from what I've done in the past and that I won't do it again. Let me ask you a question... How many people contribute to your site each day, irrespective of whether or not they register for an account? How many of those are vandalizers, how often do they do it, and to what extreme do they take it to? Let's say those vandals are teenaged, which most are, because well, you know what teens do. They go on Wiki articles and they blank pages, etc. Teens grow up, and they mature. They learn from their mistakes and they learn the importants of why rules are in place for sites like these. Are you going to unfairly deny them a chance to prove themselves? Or are you going to give them a chance for them to show they've grown up and they've matured? Think long and hard about it before you decline another unblock request from me or anyone else. From the very beginning you were very quick to decline unblock requests. We were all new users on Wikipedia once, and I'm sure at one point you were once a vandal on Wikipedia because you were a newbe. I'm pretty sure you're no angel either. Morts623 (talk)
