Your recent edit to New York Giants

edit

I reverted your recent edit to this article. If you notice on http://www.profootballhof.com/history/team.jsp?franchise_id=21 and http://www.sportsline.com/nfl/teams/history/NYG, they list the division and conference titles differently than what you are trying to change on the Wikipedia article. You see, from 1920 to 1932, the NFL had no divisions or conferences; whoever had the best record at the end of the regular season automatically won the league title. And from 1953 to 1966, the NFL had NO divisions, only two conferences: an Eastern Conference and a Western Conference. Thanks. Zzyzx11 (Talk) 04:49, 15 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Your edits to Oakland Raiders

Please do not add nonsense to Wikipedia. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. --cholmes75 (chit chat) 03:53, 5 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

  • Please stop adding false information to the Raiders article. They did not win the AFC in 1982, or else they would have been in the Super Bowl. Further reversions like the one you keep making will result in a block. --cholmes75 (chit chat) 23:53, 7 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned fair use image (Image:122105burgess180.jpg)

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:122105burgess180.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you.
