Speedy deletion nomination of Close Combat V: Invasion Normandy

My friend, it was tagged for speedy deletion after several recreations and all you've done is to edit articles related to that game and nothing else. This is referred to as "tendentious editing" and is generally frowned on. So are nasty remarks on talk pages. Please review WP:CIVIL.PMDrive1061 (talk) 02:51, 9 January 2010 (UTC)

You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of article content such as sentences or images. I create new content quite often here. Unlike you, though, I actually bother to add this content in my own words as opposed to just copy/pasting it from somewhere else and calling it a job well done. HalfShadow 18:05, 9 January 2010 (UTC)

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. Links

You have repeatedly added links to a website with which you have an obvious conflict of interest. Please read WP:SPAM. What is really needed are actual contributions of sourced content rather than attempts at linking to websites with which you have an involvement. --Leivick (talk) 02:57, 14 January 2010 (UTC)

This arguement is getting more and more vague. So now an external link cannot be added if that user has an involvement in it. So somebody with no involvement can add it? In your opinion I have a conflict of interest, so somebody else can add it again and its ok? BTW Wikipedia accounts for 0.9% of traffic to the website I aparantly have a conflict of interest with. If the link is not present I dont lose out, people looking for more indepth information lose out. I do not believe your arguement, or Eik's arguements. When I look at the rules you both have posted, it seems theres more supporting arguements for adding these links then there are against.

Spam is a real issue on Wikipedia. If you continue to add links to websites with which you are involved, you will likely be blocked from editing. If you strongly feel that your website should be linked to, please make a case on the Close Combat talk page, otherwise don't add the link. I can't speak for other editors, but my actions are not capricious. Wikipedia doesn't generally allow links to fan pages unless they are specifically needed and I don't think a link to your website is particularly helpful, if people want a Close Combat forum, they can search for it at google. --Leivick (talk) 05:54, 14 January 2010 (UTC)

I'm sorry Mooxe, but I'm going to have to put my foot down and insist you stop adding links to your website. From reading the article's talk page, it's clear that nobody agrees that the link is in accordance with our guidelines. Marasmusine (talk) 10:40, 14 January 2010 (UTC)
