Angela Laich

Hello, Mootros,

have had not enough time last half year, have one question - in russian Wikipedia somebody has made in my article about Angela Laich absolute unacceptable change - as i see somebody as "neonazi", i have it corrected, taken away, but am not sure how can i control such bad things and would better also know who was it, but have not so many ideas about that. What can You advise me?

Hello,

It's important to remain calm in these situations. Such actions are normally called vandalism. It frequently happens, but the good thing is that this is mostly detected by fellow contributors and quickly reverted. In most cases, this only happens occasionally to one and the same article. Most vandalism seems to be carried out anonymously. If however it persists, you can ask an administrator to protect the article to prevent such doings, or to get the person/ IP who is doing this blocked.. The Russian wikipedia should have similar procedures. You need to ask over there, if vandalism persists.

It's good to check articles (you have extensively worked on) once in awhile and if there is a problem you can quickly correct it. But if this keeps happening again, speak to an administrator over there.

Hi, Thank you for contacting me. Yes, I am quite certain that these article do not meet the criteria for notability. I am familiar with the subject and concluded that a PROD is the way forward. Well i'm not going to be a wikipedia baby-sitter, if you don't want to, don't undelete them. I haven't even looked at the rest, but judging by the part of your history that i have seen, your deletion proposals were probably wrong.79.107.229.232 (talk) 22:23, 23 February 2011 (UTC)

If you feel that a user has unduly proposed the deletion of articles, please make a case for each individual article and avoid generalisation. A-class

Does Wikipedia:Version 1.0 Editorial Team/Assessment/A-Class criteria help answer your question? Milhist is the only active A-class assessment scheme I've come across; most of Category:A-Class articles is empty. I think it would work project by project, rather than one project binding the rest, because it's a project-based assessment not a community-based assessment like FA. Thanks for your swift reply. That's what I thought that it only is given with regard to a project. But on the contrary, I see articles that are were Milhist project assessed carrying the statue over to all other projects: see here for two random examples [1] [2] Mootros (talk) 14:43, 28 February 2011 (UTC)
