Nazi Salute

Great work on the Nazi salute article. As you may have noticed, the article was in a very bad shape back in July. I tried to improve it in August. There have been only minor changes since until your recent work. Do you think we could clean this up to a good article standard?--Work permit (talk) 01:31, 11 February 2010 (UTC)

Dear Work permit, Thank you kindly. I'm sure that would be possible, but it still needs quite some work to get there. For a quick assessment have a look on the talk page. I only have a very limited amount of time, but happy to contribute on this article. Yours, Mootros (talk) 09:56, 11 February 2010 (UTC)

I added the following post to the Nazi Salute talk page {{maintained}} I assume that's ok with you. If not, of course feel free to remove your name--Work permit (talk) 08:56, 28 February 2010 (UTC)

Why was my entry on Elizabeth Nickson deleted? It did not remove any information, but an unnecessarily damaging headline. I need to know why you did this, because Wikipedia now has a reputation of character assassination on any conservative writers, and as such is becoming rapidly less reliable. I feel that your replacement of my expanded biography is cruel, and as it stands now, the Wikipedia is libelous. I STRONGLY CONTEST THIS and will take it to any dispute panel you have at Wikipedia, and will, if necessary, begin legal proceedings. PLEASE RESPOND IMMEDIATELY. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Catfleming (talkcontribs) 20:35, 25 February 2010 (UTC)

I agree with Rettetast this was perhaps to drastic to block the user. A strong warning might have been sufficient for this newbie who clearly didn't know what she was doing. Mootros (talk) 17:45, 27 February 2010 (UTC)

New Contributions

Hi Mootros, and thanks for the welcome message. I've been working with friends on the "Chris Westwood (author)" page and related publications. We're all still new to this, and wonder if you could check the article(s) some of which were quickly flagged for lacking references and sources. We've tried to correct that, but would appreciate your advice on the page and on a couple of the books we've linked to (A Light In The Black and Becoming Julia) which were flagged for lacking "notability". Thanks again! Mwisemann (talk) 21:36, 26 February 2010 (UTC)

Hi Mwisemann, Thank you for your contribution. I think the Chris Westwood (author) article is getting there. I'd suggest you might like to read about Wikipedia:Citing_sources and Wikipedia:Verifiability#Reliable_sources. In other words, the article could be improved with more reliable source and possibly with some more structured sections. I.e. background, work, nominations, etc. Overall I really good start! Again welcome to Wikipedia. Mootros (talk) 17:58, 27 February 2010 (UTC)
Thanks Mootros, that's a big help - much appreciated. --Mwisemann (talk) 12:06, 28 February 2010 (UTC)
