Hi there! Welcome to Wikipedia. I've seen your edits at Muhammed al-Ahari and the talk page. You should read Wikipedia's conflict of interest policy if you're editing your own article. It is allowed, but you must exercise caution, to ensure the article remains balanced. As an academic, I'm sure you understand this core principle.

Additionally, please don't add personal information about yourself unless it's verifiable by other users or readers. This would include dates of birth, spouse, children, home location etc. We are particularly strict on biographies of living people, for obvious reasons.

Thank you for your contributions, and if you've any queries, please don't hesitate to contact me (or reply here, I'll watchlist this talk page). GedUK  12:37, 6 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for your comments. How should I add the information of my membership in and travels to various Islamic groups I wrote about to show how I gained knowledge to write about subjects? I am the National Secretary for the Noble Order of Sufis, a member of the Bosnian American Cultural Association, and have attended meetings and prayers in groups as diverse as the Nubian Islamic Hebrews, Father Hurley's Spiritual Asembly, the Nation of Islam, and the Moorish Science Temple. I have also studied under a half a dozen Sufi Shaykhs, attended the American islamic College for three years, am the principal of the Bosnian language Saturday school at the Islamic Cultural Center in Northbrook, IL, and am working on a Dissertation in Education Leadership with a focus on developing an American Islamic leadership and identity. All of this can be proved by a search of GoogleBooks. How shoud I go about doing this?MoorishAm1965a (talk) 23:26, 21 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

Can you move all the material on the Talk Page for the article to an archive page if it cannot be deleted? Editors in the past have done so because so many people were changing the article and talk page repeatedly to be biased and full of personal attacks.MoorishAm1965a (talk) 18:19, 22 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

Can you stop edits by Sarabseth? He latest edits are libelous.MoorishAm1965a (talk) 02:54, 25 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

I deleted my own comments. It was not a mistake. I was the annonymous editor and I deleted them because another editor told me I had to be logged in to edit my own article and I want the comments to stay deleted.MoorishAm1965a (talk) 03:41, 25 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

You deleted comments posted by an anonymous editor. The Mark of the Beast (talk) 03:45, 25 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

The edit you are talking about was placed there because Sarabseth, who I asked to be banned from editing the article, continues to add slanderous comments to the article. Can you archieve the Talk page to the current date and there would be no reason to do so.MoorishAm1965a (talk) 04:16, 25 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

I don't care why you placed it there, it's vandalism. Take your problems through the dispute resolution process. The Mark of the Beast (talk) 04:18, 25 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

Can you stop Sarabseth from adding his attack of calling me homophobic in the article Muhammed al-Ahari. I have never attacked any individual for being homosexual, but as a Muslim I am against incest, rape, sex outside of marriage, and child marriage. Since, as a writer and religious school teacher I teach the roles of husband and wife in the family and community he has labelled me as homophobic. His attacks have become more verilant and he keeps reverting libelous and slanderous materials that were in the article Muhammed al-Ahari. Can you stop him from editing or at least allow him only to edit the content that has to do with me as a writer and the contents of my writings?MoorishAm1965a (talk) 14:18, 26 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

edit

They are, for the most part, secondary sources and actually prove what is said in the article is accurate and even include pictures and writings by people other than the subject of the article. So I am confused by the above comment. I have other references also that I can add where the individual texts are quoted or mentioned, so I can add those or edit the notes if need be. What I was asking is how to show they are footnotes in order to remove the tag.MoorishAm1965a 20:10, 19 February 2012 (UTC)
