Khunrath is supposed to have visited Dee while the latter was in Bremen on the way back to England from his time in Bohemia. The meeting apparently took place on 6 June 1589, at least that is what Dee noted in his diary. See James Orchard Halliwell, (ed.), The Private Diary of Dr. John Dee, London: Camden Society, 1842, p.31 ‘June 6th, Dr. Kenrich Khanradt of Hamburgh visitted me’. The meeting, albeit on a different date, is reported by Elias Ashmole in Theatrum Chemicum Britannicum, London, 1652, p.483 ‘Here that famous Hermetique Philosopher, [Doctor Henric Kunrath of Hamburgh] came to visit him.’ Ashmole gives the date as 27 June 1589, possibly due to calendar changes. Szulakowska asserts that Khunrath must have met Thölde, but there is no documentary evidence to support her speculation. 80.57.81.21 (talk) 18:20, 9 May 2013 (UTC)Reply
