Alfalfa

I saw the change you made to alfalfa [1] Merriam-Webster, which I trust more than the current source, says "Spanish, modification of Arabic dialect al-faṣfaṣa the alfalfa". To me that is saying al-faṣfaṣa is the name for the plant. Seeing how you said your mother tongue is Arabic (in the edit summary), I wanted to double check with you. If so, we can pop that source out and use Merriam-Webster instead. TelosCricket (talk) 23:30, 25 March 2020 (UTC)

TelosCricket I totally agree, Merriam-Webster is a superior source and we should rely on it here, but let's keep the currently used source too. Modi mode (talk) 06:20, 26 March 2020 (UTC)

I took out the bit about "fresh fodder" and Iberian sources. I used the transliteration of Merriam-Webster and kept both sources.[2] What do you think? TelosCricket (talk) 21:00, 29 March 2020 (UTC)
