Re:MarketLeverage

Hi. There are vast numbers of companies that try to advertise on Wikipedia, and some of them are not notable at all. Therefore, the community tends to be quite trigger happy. For an article to be created on Wikipedia, it must be notable in some way. I recommend reading Wikipedia:Notability (organizations and companies), which should explain how we establish notability. To sum up the policy, there must be enough coverage in reliable, independent secondary sources. Do you have any additional sources that you could add to the article? Let me know if you have any questions. --Patrick (talk) 21:10, 5 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the links. I'll take a look at them tomorrow or actually to be correct, later today. Thanks again --Patrick (talk) 04:27, 6 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Conflict of interest

edit

In view of many of your edits, and with a cynical suspicion that "mlrebecca" means "Rebecca from MarketLeverage", I feel I should give you the following standardized warning (forgive the template, but it saves a lot of time):   If you have a close connection to some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article MarketLeverage, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred from the tone of the edit and the proximity of the editor to the subject, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors;
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam); and,
  4. avoid breaching relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for businesses. For more details about what, exactly, constitutes a conflict of interest, please see our conflict of interest guidelines. Thank you. --Orange Mike | Talk 13:09, 7 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Instructions on submitting an article

For detailed instructions, see Wikipedia:Articles for creation. --Orange Mike | Talk 17:48, 7 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

"You are strongly discouraged from writing articles about yourself or organisations in which you hold a vested interest." I would suggest you put in a Wikipedia:Articles for creation request and put the URL of your draft at the end of the line on which you make your submission. --Orange Mike | Talk 20:28, 7 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

MarketLeverage

I took a look at your article. Unfortunately the topic does not satisfy the notability guidelines and would be deleted upon submission. Please read Wikipedia:FAQ/Business. The article needs independent sources. Blogs and press releases do not support notability. Sorry and good luck. GtstrickyTalk or C 19:00, 8 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

This source met the notability guidelines. WP:OSEGtstrickyTalk or C 17:34, 11 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Since the INC article is about PrecisionPlay Media, I think you could do an article on that company and mention Market Leverage. I still think an article on Market Leverage would not make it in an WP:AFD. GtstrickyTalk or C 00:59, 21 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
