Martin: this was insufficient and unacceptable. Please make sure you follow instructions for future assignments because you will fall behind very quickly otherwise. Connect with somebody in the class who has done well and ask them to explain to you the assignment. I went over the assignment in great detail in class - if you are absent, it is your responsibility to get the information that you need. Alfgarciamora (talk) 12:57, 6 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Week 6: I see no improvement, Martin. You really need to find sources to add to your topic page and go back and make sure you have covered all of the previous requirements. You cannot leave this assignment for the end of the course! Alfgarciamora (talk) 12:22, 12 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

@Mlecole: Martin: I think you are adding content to the talk page of your article rather than in the article's mainspace itself. You really need to get your stuff together because you are falling behind very, very quickly. Alfgarciamora (talk) 19:21, 4 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hello, Martin, this is Zonya and I will be peer reviewing your article. So far, I think you have some good ideas for expanding this article. I think it is imperative that you find sources for the article so that you can begin writing your draft. Here are some things that I think you should consider when researching and drafting:

-How vulgarity may relate to sexuality

-The differences between how vulgarity is defined by various societies or groups (do they view blasphemy or certain sexual acts as vulgar?)

-How vulgarity relates to social deviance

-Vulgarity in countries or societies as a whole (since the article isn't limited to vulgarity in the United States)

-Censorship of vulgarity

-Vulgarity and media (music and video games)(the effects)

-A source that you should check out: Turner, Jimmy. "The Tight-Rope between Vulgarity and Chastity, how Middle-Class White Women in the South of Brazil Construct 'Modern' Sexual Identities." Journal of gender studies 23.1 (2014): 81-92. ProQuest. Web. 18 Oct. 2016. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Zmyer002 (talkcontribs) 04:49, 18 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hey Zonya, Thank you very much for the comment! I have already added some of your very helpful suggestions to the talk page. So far I have added the ones that will have the most information on them, however I will be looking into adding more if there is time and enough information behind them. I am not the best with finding sources so that will help a lot (as well as to try and find more sources like it). Thank you for the comments. @Zmeyer002: Mlecole (talk) 20:43, 26 October 2016 (UTC)Reply
