hey, listen--obviously, you have problems with the whole steroids thing on Issues in American Football. Why don't you do us all a favor and fix the blessed thing? If certain words are untrue (e.g. "widely available", not "sometimes" or "even on rare occasions"), change the words. If the years given are vague, try clarifying them to the best of your knowledge. If there's "facts" that aren't facts, remove the "facts" and try to reword the sentence. If substances are listed that aren't steroids, give a distinction. (But please don't just delete paragraphs because you don't agree with them.) Try making a positive change--an addition, not just a subtraction--to the article. Heaven knows it needs it. Garcia is the new Harrington edit

Classic - thanks for the note, I got a good laugh out of it. The guy has been the starting QB for twenty minutes and already some fans are ready to get rid of him! | Keithlaw 02:53, 30 October 2005 (UTC)Reply

Harrington and dates edit

Thanks for the note - you're doing fine, don't worry about it. I agree with you: editing Wikipedia can be quite addictive. The only major thing left with Harrington aside from weekly updates is watching the page on Sundays for the vandals. As for formatting dates, the best way is to link the (month, date) together, then the (year) on its own. You can also link the year directly to the "year in sports" page - 2005 in sports. Or you can try this trick: 2005, which goes to "2005 in sports" but only says "2005," so it's cleaner. If you need any help, please ask - I probably had the same question not long ago myself. | Keithlaw 23:18, 10 November 2005 (UTC)Reply
