A barnstar for you!

For stepping up at RfA. It didn't go well, but your offer to help was obviously well intentioned and is appreciated. Ad Orientem (talk) 15:21, 30 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
I second Ad Orientem's message. I hope that the reaction at the RFA doesn't lessen your enthusiasm for the project overall or leave the impression that all your contributions as an editor are not appreciated. They are! Cheers. Abecedare (talk) 22:43, 30 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Bigg Boss Days

edit

The day counting in Bigg Boss episodes starts from 0 and goes up to 99, making a total of 100 days. In the latest episode, it showed DAY 97, and DAY 98 was a grooming day, which will not be shown in the episodes, Day 99 is finale.

The contestants entered the house on March 9, and the finale is on June 16, making it a total of 100 days. Bijzindia (talk) 19:08, 16 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hi, while your calculations may be accurate, we cannot rely solely on our own assumptions and make changes to Wikipedia articles that contradict official websites and sources. Official confirmation is always necessary to avoid inaccuracies, especially when information is clearly stated on the official website. A mismatch between your calculation and the official information might be flagged as incorrect. I hope you understand. Thanks--Mims Mentor (talk) 20:49, 16 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
It is not assumption, Bigg Boss officially announced finale day is 100th day. (watch the finale episode from the beginning).
For ur better understanding I've explained how it is. Bijzindia (talk) 01:58, 17 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
Repeatedly providing incorrect and unverified information can lead to potential vandalism and account blocking. For your reference, please see Wikipedia:Verifiability. You are always welcome to modify articles, but remember that any information added must be demonstrably true and have been published by a reliable source.--Mims Mentor (talk) 16:46, 17 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
I noticed that you are trying to update the Bigg Boss Season 6 article with incorrect information and without any reliable citations. The Bigg Boss show lasts for 100 days, as confirmed in its final episode. If you are mentioning it as 98 days, you should provide a verifiable source of information.
I've also explained you how the show works and days counted in episodes, several times.
Please refrain from updating the article with incorrect information. Once again, I remind you that repeatedly providing incorrect and unverified information can lead to potential vandalism and account blocking. Bijzindia (talk) 21:11, 17 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
You're reiterating what I mentioned about checking the official website on Hotstar. I already mentioned that earlier.
While I appreciate your explanation of the show's format and episode release schedule, you can't expect information to be accepted solely based on your explanations and personal logic. Please refer to Wikipedia's guidelines on Verifiability, Wikipedia:Verifiability.
All the points you suggested I consider are actually the ones you should be referencing yourself.--Mims Mentor (talk) 21:42, 17 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
The show itself states that it is 100 days, and the fact is also that it is 100 days. If you are changing it to 98 days, then please provide the citation. Bijzindia (talk) 14:19, 18 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
The episode list for Bigg Boss is available on Hotstar, click here. This is a reliable and authoritative source for the information I mentioned. The website provides details including the number of episodes, episode release dates, and the number of days spent by contestants (information found within the Hotstar site itself). I repeat the source is already provided.
I hope you have not gone through Wikipedia's Verifiability guidelines, Wikipedia:Verifiability. While your explanations may be true, Wikipedia requires citations from reliable sources to support the information. This means including links to websites from authorized sources about Bigg Boss to verify your claims.
"Its content is determined by previously published information rather than editors' beliefs, opinions, experiences, or previously unpublished ideas or information. Even if you are sure something is true, it must have been previously published in a reliable source before you can add it." - sitation from Wikipedia's Verifiability guidelines.--Mims Mentor (talk) 14:43, 18 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
