Hello Mike. Thanks for your contributions to this article, but please be aware that you do not WP:OWN the article.

Please familiarise yourself with WP:RECENTISM – articles should not focus on recent events, but should present a balanced history. The detail you were adding for 2016–17 is not present for other seasons, so is not appropriate. Also, we do not list honours won by the reserve team. I think the other points (e.g. not listing runners-up positions as they aren't honours and using champions for league wins and winners for cups) were made in the edit summary. Hi No 57, I certainly do not own the article but neither do you! Who is the royal "we"? This is supposed to be an information page. By not including other competition details you are wiping out the memory of hundreds of players who have made a contribution to our wonderful club. "We" is Wikipedia in general – you can see that we don't include reserve honours by checking other clubs' articles (you might find one or two that have slipped through the net, but exceptions do not prove it's allowed). Your point about "wiping out the memory of hundreds of players who have made a contribution to our wonderful club" is not appropriate for Wikipedia – this is an encyclopedia, not a community website – that sort of thing might be appropriate for the club's own website though. The use of "our" also makes me slightly concerned that you are involved with the club – if so, you should probably also be aware of our WP:Conflict of interest guidelines.

I do not claim to be an arbiter on non-League football articles but I have edited several hundred of them and am familiar with what is normal and appropriate content. Number 57 14:45, 28 June 2017 (UTC)

To answer your points:

(1) Checking what is in other clubs' articles is an perfectly valid way of checking what material is deemed acceptable or not – many things on Wikipedia arise by unwritten consensus over the years. However, if you want to ask a wider audience, then by all means raise the issue at WT:FOOTY – this is as close to a "committee" as you will find here. If you do raise it, please do clarify whether you have a conflict of interest (see below for more on that).

(2) Yes, I've been editing one since 2005.

(3) Living in a country does not mean you have a conflict of interest; being involved with or employed by an organisation means you do have a conflict of interest. Again, I suggest you read our WP:COI rules.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions at Highworth Town F.C.. Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing Wikipedia. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period.
