Pronunciation of "Luxa"; social greeting; thanks for your good work.

Dear Mr. Vitale:

I've added a note on Talk:Gregor the Overlander, at the bottom in a new section titled "Pronunciation of Luxa -- Include?". You probably want to participate in any discussion that happens there. It makes sense to me that we discuss this on the article's talk page rather than on our private talk pages.

Also, thank you for taking the time to create an account and for being so involved with Wikipedia.

Cordially Yours, Steven Augart (And if you want me to call you Mike, then you can call me "Steve".) Saugart (talk) 03:21, 4 January 2008 (UTC)

Please consider re-visiting Talk:Heinrich Hertz#jewish ancestry. I'd be interested in your feedback about the suggested edit strategy I've proposed. --Ooperhoofd (talk) 15:38, 11 January 2008 (UTC)

I'm sorry, I don't believe I've ever edited this article in any meaningful way, nor do I see my name among the recent editors of the linked talk page. I'm at a loss as to why you're requesting my presence here. --MikeVitale 15:46, 11 January 2008 (UTC)

Thank you!

Hello Mike, thanks so much for the barnstar. I really appreciate it! Best, Keilana|Parlez ici 13:04, 25 January 2008 (UTC)

You're welcome! Thanks for your vigilance with that person and related obvious sockpuppets. --MikeVitale 14:09, 25 January 2008 (UTC)

I'll stick my thank you for the barnstar in here seeing as it's related. Yeah, (...sigh...), I thought that guy had disappeared after last month. Cheers. FlowerpotmaN·(t) 00:14, 26 January 2008 (UTC)

And you are welcome as well. I think I caught the front-end of that long tirade of vandalism, but was utterly surprised when I returned later last night (localtime) to see just how many revisions those pages had been through. --MikeVitale 01:54, 26 January 2008 (UTC)

Notability of Gamma Beta Chi

A tag has been placed on Gamma Beta Chi requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Justinm1978 (talk) 05:38, 29 January 2008 (UTC)
