Hello, I want to explain why I have reverted your contributions to the Danville, New Hampshire article twice now. As you referenced, the text was copied from the History chapter of the 2014 Town of Danville Master Plan. Wikipedia has a strict policy limiting cut-and-paste editing. If the source is not in the public domain, there is absolutely no copying of text allowed. In the case of the master plan, you would have to point to an explicit statement that the document is public domain if you wished to repeat it verbatim. A far better option is to use your own words, describing what you consider to be the key events mentioned in the document but not repeating it. I appreciate your interest in improving the history section of the Danville article and look forward to seeing edits in your own words. --Ken Gallager (talk) 12:52, 6 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
