Request reason:
An indefinite block for an unproven accusation of hounding? The other editor who engaged in edit warring and article ownership didn't get anything? Sorry, but this is abuse of power by ~ ToBeFree. Based on the responses of two uninvolved admins, yes, I acknowledge my mistake, and extend my apologies. I am sorry. I promise not to engage in hounding or any other form of harassment. I am willing to accept a block for a time, all I'm asking is for my block not to be indefinite. Thank you.Migsmigss (talk) 12:34, 23 August 2023 (UTC)

Block notice versus declined unblock requests edit
Hey - what I said in response to Nil Einne was that the block notice may be removed - it has been. What policy requires is that declined unblock requests be kept here. Hope everything is clear now; please don't remove them again. You're welcome to remove this message when the protection expires (but not the notices above). - The specific policy involved is WP:KEEPDECLINEDUNBLOCK, which states "A number of important matters may not be removed by the user—they are part of the wider community's processes: Declined unblock requests regarding a currently active sitewide block.". 331dot (talk) 09:01, 26 August 2023 (UTC)
- I tried to be clear in my response but Migsmiggs, you've misunderstood what I was saying if you think I was saying you were allowed to remove the declined unblock requests. You're not as long as you are blocked. What I was trying to say is you could remove the notice you received about being blocked, but you had to keep the requests you made to be unblocked which had been declined. Basically you need to keep your talk page as it is now except you can also remove all the comments here under "Block notice versus declined unblock requests".
