Hi Michelle,
I think you have some great ideas for expanding the article on betta fish. The information about flaring behaviour when presented with a mirror is a good addition to the flaring behaviour already covered in the existing article. There already seems to be a bit of information about territorial behaviour in the article, but it seems focused on males. It would be good to do some research and see if females also exhibit these territorial behaviours. Although you don’t have an sources in your sandbox at the moment, I’m sure you’ll be able to find good information.
