Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. I saw that you created an article about the estimation lemma. Thanks. I don't know the result under that name and I do find the name a bit odd, since the lemma does not provide an estimate but a bound. Did you take the name from the books listed as references?
The intuitive "proof" that you added to the page, is in my opinion well-suited for Wikipedia. I think that we shouldn't try to include fully rigorous proofs. You can read some thoughts about proof at Wikipedia:WikiProject Mathematics/Proofs. You may also be interested in Wikipedia:WikiProject Mathematics and other pages listed there.
I took the liberty to make some changes to the formatting so that it follows the conventions here a bit more closely. Let me know if you disagree with anything and we'll work it out. By the way, it seems to me that the picture is a bit misleading. You bound the integral over the semi-circle, but the contour Γ in the picture also includes the line segment from −a to a.
