Memoryglass
A tag has been placed on Memory glass, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group or service and which would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. editI've actually never seen that movie, but after reading its synopsis, I now understand what you're referencing. It's surely a coincidence, though I must admit to mild annoyance that it resembles anything related to a Sandra Bullock movie...
Regarding your user page, it was a valid basis for deletion. WP:USER states:
[User page] space is not intended to indefinitely archive your preferred version of disputed or previously deleted content. In other words, Wikipedia is not a free web host. Private copies of pages that are being used solely for long-term archival purposes may be subject to deletion
Therefore, keeping the exact copy of a properly deleted article as your userpage was inappropriate. However, it was one of my first actions as an administrator and I may have been in error. I probably should not have speedy deleted the page, but listed it at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion. If you want, I will restore the page. I will, however, immediately list it at MfD where it is highly likely to be re-deleted. — Scientizzle 18:02, 12 May 2007 (UTC)
