Speedy deletion nomination of Barney's Bakery - Profit Statement

edit

A tag has been placed on Barney's Bakery - Profit Statement requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you.   Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Barney's Bakery - Profit Statement, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. Moocha (talk) 19:41, 6 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Please stop removing speedy deletion notices from pages that you have created yourself. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Moocha (talk) 19:43, 6 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Barney's Bakery - Profit Statement

Hi, you might want to look at WP:NOT. Your entry doesn't really seem like an encyclopedia entry, which is what's expected around here. This isn't a free webhost. Cheers. Hairhorn (talk) 19:44, 6 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hello.

I am an accountant which means I have an obligation to prepare financial statements for my clients. I need a good working space to organise the accounts for Barney's Bakery as May 31st was the end of their financial year. Thank you.--Melons Accounting (talk) 19:47, 6 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hi..... again, you might want to see the link I posted above, WP:NOT, this is an encyclopedia, not a "workspace". Cheers. Hairhorn (talk) 19:49, 6 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
I believe you did the same thing here under another account last month. Wikipedia is probably the last place you'd want to use to store private financial information, so I seriously doubt your judgment in this matter. Acroterion (talk) 20:56, 6 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
If you need a working space, Wikipedia is not what you're looking for. Perhaps you should take a look at Google Docs, which includes a word processor and spreadsheet applications, as well as greater control over access to documents you create. —C.Fred (talk) 02:10, 7 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
Also, Acroterion is correct: Melons Accountants (talk · contribs) was blocked on 30 April after attempting to create Henry's Bookstore - 2010 Profit Statement. —C.Fred (talk) 02:24, 7 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
