Hello, I'm GiantSnowman. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Liam Moore seemed less than neutral to me, so I removed it for now. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. GiantSnowman 10:28, 19 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

Football infobox statistics

edit

Please stop changing the infobox statistics to incorrect figures. Any change you make should have a reliable source and none of the figures you have entered are accurate. Thanks.--Egghead06 (talk) 19:11, 17 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

If you want to update the infobox stats for football players, you must update the date, or someone might come along and duplicate your edit. Best to wait till after the game, to be honest. Bretonbanquet (talk) 20:12, 17 September 2013 (UTC)Reply
And even if a player makes an appearance, scores a goal, just adding one to the totals is not always correct. Sometimes the figures have not been updated for many games/weeks/months.--Egghead06 (talk) 20:30, 17 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

Updating stats

edit

Please do not update stats until the match has actually finished. GiantSnowman 15:09, 28 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

Please stop updating app stats until the matches are over, like you did for David Nugent and many more since. JMHamo (talk) 15:25, 28 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

You can find information about these at the welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make some test edits, please use the sandbox for that. Thank you. You have been asked not to update appearances and goals until games are over as it goes against consensus. Please stop or you may be blocked. JMHamo (talk) 14:23, 19 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Epicgenius. I wanted to let you know that I undid one or more of your recent contributions to Crewe Alexandra F.C. because it did not appear constructive.   Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Scott Cuthbert. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Administrators have the ability to block users from editing if they repeatedly engage in vandalism. Thank you. ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
