Hello, I'm Aspening. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Matt Lavelle seemed less than neutral to me, so I removed it for now. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Aspening (talk) 02:21, 10 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

How many times have you seen Matt play? He is undeniably a minor figure of the downtown scene. Never had a leader gig a the Vision Festival, never had a week at the Stone. Most of his gigs are rentals that he sets up.

I described his solos as beautifully indulgent. If that’s not neutral, remove beautifully. His soloing develops diachronically over time, not sunchronically in response to listening to his fellow players. He waits for his moment to solo. This is descriptive. So your claim that it is not neutral is plain wrong. Where is the judgment? Mdlsota666 (talk) 02:57, 10 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

You certainly know a lot about me Aspening. I implore you to have the courage to tell me who you are. I also would like to know just why what I do bothers you so much. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.102.72.133 (talk) 16:36, 11 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Aspening. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Aspening (talk) 16:44, 8 September 2018 (UTC)Reply
