Proposed deletion of Lady Mary Anne Howard edit

The article Lady Mary Anne Howard has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Hi, I've proposed the page you began, Lady Mary Anne Howard, for deletion. This is because another user added some information and a link to his source which makes it sound like the Mary who married Ferris couldn't have been a Howard. Also, the link the article cites for the idea that she was a Howard seems to come from a "legends" section of the genealogy website and refers only to "A tradition claims" as well as several competing claims. If Mary wasn't a Howard (as seems likely) then there doesn't seem to be any other reason for her to have an article on Wikipedia. Please let me know if you've got any questions about this proposed deletion.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. --Zeborah (talk) 10:06, 22 August 2010 (UTC)Reply
