License tagging for Image:Tretorri Rende.JPG

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Tretorri Rende.JPG. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. --OrphanBot (talk) 10:07, 19 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hi there. I think you misunderstand slightly. I'm not saying he had anything to do with the Kingdoms of Sicily or England, but that his Norman monarchy in Antioch was around longer than those in Sicily and England. It survived them. Regards --Tefalstar (talk) 19:11, 4 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

No problem, your English is good. Regards --Tefalstar (talk) 20:18, 5 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

File:Castello Normanno Rende 1911.jpg needs authorship information

edit
Dear uploader:

The media file you uploaded as File:Castello Normanno Rende 1911.jpg appears to be missing information as to its authorship (and or source), or if you did provide such information, it is confusing for others trying to make use of the image.

It would be appreciated if you would consider updating the file description page, to make the authorship of the media clearer.

Although some images may not need author information in obvious cases, (such where an applicable source is provided), authorship information aids users of the image, and helps ensure that appropriate credit is given (a requirement of some licenses).

  • If you created this media yourself, please consider explicitly including your user name, for which: {{subst:usernameexpand|Mauriziogiraldi}} will produce an appropriate expansion,
    or use the {{own}} template.
  • If this is an old image, for which the authorship is unknown or impossible to determine, please indicate this on the file description page.
If you have any questions please see Help:File page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 10:16, 3 July 2012 (UTC)Reply
