Nope, sorry, don't know him. But MIT is a big place and I'm pretty new there. By the way, welcome to the pedia! Let me know if you need any help. moink 00:36, 23 Mar 2004 (UTC)

Hi, I just reverted your addition of {{featured}} to Linux. This template is only for featured articles, and as far as I'm aware, Linux is not such an article. Thanks Kate | Talk 00:31, 2004 Aug 16 (UTC)

Hi could you say in some detail why you think the Nutrition page needs cleanup? Thanks in advance TonyClarke 00:29, 22 Oct 2004 (UTC)

Stop vandalizing edit

  • Please stop vandalizing Israeli violence against Palestinian children with poorly spelt irrelevant material. - Xed 01:36, 14 Nov 2004 (UTC)
    • Well fix the spelling mistakes and whatever you think is wrong with it. The article is Palestinian POV and I'm doing my best to offer a Israeli perspective in which it is lacking. -Masterhomer
      • Are you claiming Israelis are illiterates with a penchant for irrelevant information? - Xed 01:46, 14 Nov 2004 (UTC)

The enormous number of reverts in this edit war required page protection, and still does. There is disagreement about which version administrators should protect on, but I feel leaving the contents as they are is the best approximation of neutrality. This is only a temporary situation (albeit one that might last weeks). Discussions/polls should clear it up...eventually. Cool Hand Luke 07:03, 14 Nov 2004 (UTC)

  1. I understand your reasoning. However, I feel that by protecting such an NPOV article, you are allowing people to use Wikipedia to push specific and controversial agendas. The article is not just NPOV, it is damaging, and fails to show the reader Israel's rightful point of view. The uneducated reader will read article like that and end up accusing Israel of the wonton murdering of innocent children, which my and others people's addition showed to not be the case. --Masterhomer 07:16, 14 Nov 2004 (UTC)
Don't you mean POV? - Ta bu shi da yu 05:17, 24 Dec 2004 (UTC)
That was a month ago. Just reminding you. :) Masterhomer 05:38, 24 Dec 2004 (UTC)
The article is horribly POV, but revert wars weren't helping. Xed proved how committed he was by reverting 14 times, but you yourself also broke the three revert rule (though less flagrantly). Honestly, this article has stood as POV garbage for weeks, and a couple more to hammer it out is in our best interests. Cool Hand Luke 07:26, 14 Nov 2004 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia edit

Welcome to Wikipedia! Don't let Xed's insults and reverts scare you away from editing here, there are plenty of nice people here who I'm sure you'll enjoy interacting with. Jayjg 04:04, 16 Nov 2004 (UTC)

  1. Hey, hey. I might be new to political articles but I'm defiantly not new to Wikipedia. :) Thanks for the support though! Masterhomer 04:26, 16 Nov 2004 (UTC)

Gangtok edit

Please could you review Gangtok again. I've removed all offending phrases. Thanks Nichalp 18:39, Feb 4, 2005 (UTC)

As of March 25, 2005, there are an additional (6) articles listed for deletion under the POV notion that schools are non-notable (even though this is invalid reasoning as per the Wikipedia deletion policy). Please be aware that the following schools are actively being discussed and voted upon:

In response to this cyclical ordeal, a Schoolwatch programme has been initiated in order to indentify school-related articles which may need improvement and to help foster and encourage continued organic growth. Your comments are welcome and I thank you again for your time. --GRider\talk

Welcome back edit

Welcome back, however I don't think that the Kabbalah Center can be compared to chabad in any way, as much as chabad is differnt in its own ways, every sect of Judaism is different from each other as well, to call chabad a cult probaly isn't the best description. --Eliezer | £€åV€ m€ å m€§§åg€ 02:46, 20 July 2005 (UTC)Reply

Calling Kabbalah Centre a cult is like calling Chabad a cult. How can Kabbalah Centre be called a cult and Chabad be religious organization? Because Chabad is accepted by mainstream Judaism? Kabbalah Centre is most definatly not a cult. Masterhomer   02:54, 20 July 2005 (UTC)Reply
Now that you have clarified your statement I understand what you are saying, I thought that you were saying the reverse. --Eliezer | £€åV€ m€ å m€§§åg€ 03:03, 20 July 2005 (UTC)Reply

Is the Kabbalah Center a religious organization? That's not clear to me. By the way, you might be interested in this VfD: Wikipedia:Votes for deletion/Religious persecution by Jews. Jayjg (talk) 19:41, 20 July 2005 (UTC)Reply

The Kabbalah Center is a religious organization, and is also tied to traditional Jewish beliefs. The way they teach Judaism is against Jewish law, but that doesn't make them a cult. I always seem to miss the interesting VfDs. Masterhomer   02:01, 29 July 2005 (UTC)Reply

Best Buy edit

Sorry 'bout that. I didn't know you were the original author. Just bought my car stereo at Best Buy because Circuit City's customer service was truly abyssmal.  :) - Lucky 6.9 01:08, 10 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

Proposal on Notability edit

Because you're a member of the Association of Inclusionist Wikipedians, I'm notifying you that the inclusionist proposa Wikipedia:Non-notabilityl is in progress to define the role of notability in articles. Please help us make this successful! Also note the proposal Wikipedia:Importance is a deletionist proposla that seeks to officially introduce notabiltiy for the first time. Make sure this is defeated! --Ephilei 04:39, 4 July 2006 (UTC)Reply
