This is your last warning.
The next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to 0.999..., you will be blocked from editing. Oli Filth 21:31, 2 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content which gains a consensus among editors. --TeaDrinker 21:37, 2 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

0.999 edit

If you make the same edit once more you will be blocked for WP:3RR --Anthony.bradbury"talk" 21:37, 2 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Your edit to 0.999... does not make sense. The first equation you state, c=110c, is true for c=0, but not in the general case, so it is not comparable to the proof stated, however much that proof may be original research (as a modification to a related binary proof in the cited 1910 calculus book by Silvanus Thompson (reprinted 1998). Take the dispute to the talk page, rather than repeately adding nonsense to the article and getting blocked. Edison 21:57, 2 September 2007 (UTC)Reply
