SIM PlanetQuest edit

Hi. I saw on your user page you were interested in Space Interferometry Mission. It is up for peer review right now and if you had any input it would greatly be appreciated. I have been toiling away on it, with an expansion from a stub class article in November to a massive expansion this past few days that has led to me nominating it for Good article status. Eventually I hope to take it to WP:FAC. I would be most interested in an outside perspective from someone who is interested in the page and/or topic. Thanks ahead of time. If you wouldn't mind leaving comments on the peer review page I linked above, that would be great. Also, you may want to take a look at the article's talk page, as I left a few notes there. Of course, this favor is redeemable for a favor of your choice, I am a member of several projects and the League of Copyeditors, if you need anything copyedited. As an added note, I am interested in cleaning up and expanding Kepler Mission (as this page could be a future high volume one if it discovers what it's supposed to) and Terrestrial Planet Finder, which, really, along with the other two, all have the potential to eventually become very important Wikipedia pages. Perhaps you would be interested in collaborating? IvoShandor 12:55, 27 April 2007 (UTC)Reply
Cool. I am wrapped up in some other stuff right now but watch them and I will let you know when I have some time. Launches are still a bit away so it won't kill to wait a little while. But I am sure they will see a lot of traffic once big discoveries start coming in. IvoShandor 08:01, 13 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
If I am online I am speedy with that, or try to be if there's not much to mull over before replying. This would be nice, it's tough improving article all by yourself sometimes, : ). Are you active on Wikipedia or just a sporadic user? Just curious. IvoShandor 08:36, 13 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
No prob on the delay. Job sounds really cool! Anyway, just wanted to make sure I could contact you on Wikipedia easily. : ) We shall speak again I am certain. IvoShandor 09:48, 13 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Martian edit

Hi, nice to know there are other space cadets, or rather amateurs of planetary science, around. Due to another speaker's injury, I'm supposed to give a talk to my local astronomy club about the Planet of the Robots on Friday, so I'll be studying the various probe articles.
