Nevada Power Company

edit

I undid your changes since they destroyed the article. There is a common format used on the wiki and your edits removed valid content and destroyed the look of the article. I'm going to assume that you were making a good faith effort to improve the article. If you need to experiment please use the sandbox. Also if you are making changes be aware of WP:COPYVIO and the need to cite sources for changes. Vegaswikian (talk) 01:11, 17 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Replacing entire sections is not the way to go. The old version had a section with history about each power plant. Your edits destroyed that information by removing it and replacing this with a picture of how things are now. Eventually those power plants should have articles and the information contained here will be used as the basis for those articles. Your removal of that information hurts that process and appears as vandalism. The content should be expanded and grow on the previous content not replace it every time a new 10K comes out. I'll give you some time to consider these comments before I edit what you added. Also, citation are really needed for most material these days. Your add contains none so the source can not be checked. Vegaswikian (talk) 22:31, 20 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 22:46, 21 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

I'm the guy who tried to update the pages a few months ago. Been busy, but got back to it now. Hope the sources help. Thanks for your previous input and counsel. --Mark in Vegas (talk) 20:28, 9 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

You should read the 2008 annual report which explains that Nevada Power and NV energy are not the same. Vegaswikian (talk) 06:44, 10 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
