Medial robots and Medical robots

edit

Hello,

Wikipedia article on Medical robot is currently a redirect to Robotic surgery. As the main topic is located at that article I have nominated Medial robots for speedy deletion as incorrectly named duplicate, and redirected Medical robots to Robotic surgery. Medical robots

edit

Medical Robots - a group of robots that allow the doctors greater and more precise and less-invasive access to area of operations. This group are in most telemanipulators which use doctor’s action on one side and effector on the other side. The task is to control the movements of the doctor's work and decide about tasks that need to be performed. Effector, as the name suggests, has to perform those tasks. Among the medical robots we can distinguish a few groups:

  • Surgical robots - their most important feature is the increased precision and quality of operations.
  • Rehabilitation robots - this group facilitates and supports the lives of infirm, elderly people, or those with dysfunction of movement organs. These robots are also used for rehabilitation and any related procedures, such as training or therapy.
  • Biorobots - is a group of robots designed to imitate humans and animals that we use for cognitive aims. We are also dealing here with robotic systems.
