Hey, it's Nate, I'm sending you a message one to start your talk page off and show you how it will work, and two to correct you slightly on your removal of non-existent links. Red links are acceptable on Wikipedia, they allow for identification of what articles are needed, so I'd say your removal of the Cow Bayou link may have been unnecessary. However, your removal of the combustible material link was likely the correct thing to do, as that doesn't sound like a needed Wikipedia page. There are several points that apply to red links, which are likely in the Wikipedia holy scripture, WP:MOS, so you can look into that for several guidelines on the grammar fixes you're currently focusing on. If you actually read the Manual of Style you'll be ahead of me on what to do and what not to.

Secondly, here's talk page etiquette in case you have to deal with the various discussion pages. Firstly, any replies to someone else's post, if made under the same heading as they should be, should place a colon in front of each paragraph in order to make the paragraph stand out one space over. This lets people know who you were responding to in a discussion. Then generally just state your point, assuming good faith on the other user's part, then end it with your signature, which is automatically signed and dated by typing -~~~~, a dash followed by four tildes. I hope some of that helps. If you want to try out talking on a discussion page, you can go to mine by clicking on talk next to my username at the end of this paragraph, then just scroll to the bottom, add a new heading, and do the above. Your friendly neighborhood wikistalker/adopter (there's actually an association for wikiadoption of new users to help them out), -KingPenguin 23:42, 15 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
