July 2011 edit

  Please do not introduce incorrect information into articles, as you did to Priya Anand. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. Commander (Ping Me) 07:17, 31 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

August 2011 edit

  Please do not introduce incorrect information into articles, as you did to Karthi. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again.   Please do not add unsourced content, as you did to Trisha Krishnan. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. --Jezebel'sPonyobons mots 14:37, 13 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

To be clear edit

Your editing pattern shows a disregard for Wikipedia's biographies of living persons policy and the requirement to include reliable sourcing when adding or changing information in articles. Today you have not only changed the birthdates of individuals without including a source, you have actually removed referenced, verified material and replaced it with you own unsubstantiated dates. This cannot continue. If you add or change personal info in WP:BLPs without explicitely stating your sources, I will block your account in order to give you the opportunity to thoroughly review Wikipedia's important policies on sourcing and verifiability. --Jezebel'sPonyobons mots 14:48, 13 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked temporarily from editing for contravening Wikipedia's biographies of living persons policy. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.   This is your last warning. The next time you violate Wikipedia's biographies of living persons policy by inserting unsourced or poorly sourced defamatory or otherwise controversial content into an article or any other Wikipedia page, as you did at Brian Cooley, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. --Jezebel'sPonyobons mots 21:29, 9 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

January 2014 edit

  Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Lakshmi Rai may have broken the syntax by modifying 3 "{}"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
  • Rai Biography |publisher: Famousindianpeople.com |date=28 April 2010 |accessdate=19 January 2014}}</ref>
  • }}

ArbCom Elections 2016: Voting now open! edit

Hello, Maran1953. Voting in the 2016 Arbitration Committee elections is open from Monday, 00:00, 21 November through Sunday, 23:59, 4 December to all unblocked users who have registered an account before Wednesday, 00:00, 28 October 2016 and have made at least 150 mainspace edits before Sunday, 00:00, 1 November 2016.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2016 election, please review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 22:08, 21 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
