Last updated: (in order to resynchronize this worksheet with the OWS source identified below) - 8 February 2011.
Source: Manchester United first team squad, season 2010-11
- Note 1: On 21 Jan. 2011 the MUFC OWS had been updated to indicate that all 8 of the players indicated with a squad status TLA ending in "-XX" (in the worksheet above) were out on loan at other clubs, hence this worksheet was at that time back in sync. again with the Man. United first team as defined on the MUFC OWS. That was because all 8 of those extant loans were now long term loans through to the end of the season. Prior to the beginning of the Jan. 2011 transfer window there was a combination of players on both long and short term loans causing the worksheet to be continually out of sync. with the MUFC OWS because the latter only indicated which players were on long term loans - and thus players on short term loans (such as Ritchie De Laet and Nicky Ajose) incorrectly appeared to be available members of the first team squad according to the MUFC OWS, while they were correctly indicated as being unavailable (due to being out on loan) according to the above worksheet. On 1 Feb. 2011 the update to the worksheet to indicate that Joe Dudgeon was also out on a long term loan to the end of the season at Carlisle United put the worksheet out of sync. with the MUFC OWS again since, as of 8 Feb. 2011, the sloths that maintain the MUFC OWS have still not indicated that Dudgeon is out on loan. This is the only player currently out on loan (all long term loans) for which the worksheet and OWS are not synchronized.
- Note 2: Prior to his going out on loan De Laet had a squad status of "HGP-04" as, according to this source, he was a registered member of the EPL 25-man squad (while according to the UEFA Champions League OWS he was not a member of the UEFA squad). As of 23 Oct. 2010, Ritchie De Laet was no longer showing as - or never had been - a registered member of this squad according to the Premier League OWS. Accordingly, going forward, he is now considered to be a "fringe player" due to the fact he is not registered in either of the 25-man squads - and he possibly has been one ever since 1 Sep. 2010.
