Educa

edit

The article was up for half an hour before it was tagged for deletion, and another half an hour before I deleted it. During that time it did not indicate why the company was important or significant; it was just a one-sentence description. The version that you have above is better, since it incorporates a reference that shows the company has been discussed in third-party sources. (If that reference had been in the first version it probably wouldn't have been tagged for deletion.) We're not trying to be hard on you and I apologise if it seemed that way. One way to avoid speedy deletion (if the article doesn't yet indicate notability) is to start the article in your sandbox or elsewhere in your user space, and then move it out when it's ready. ... discospinster talk 22:59, 10 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

I would suggest adding one more reliable source before going "live". If you can't find one right away, you can put the article out there but add the {{refimprove}} tag to signal that more sources are needed. This probably wouldn't prevent someone from proposing deletion but it could another speedy deletion. ... discospinster talk 23:13, 10 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
This might be a helpful source to add (though a better one would be, say, a newspaper article): http://www.growwellington.co.nz/page/casestudies/name/Education_goes_digital.aspx. ... discospinster talk 23:16, 10 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Te Whāriki

edit

The article Te Whāriki has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No evidence this concept is notable.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
