The article Eurocsys has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This article seems to only promote Eurocsys; most of the text is copy-pasted from their website

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

I am truly sorry that I did not complain before the deletion of the Eurocsys article, the reason was that I was amazed that your policies allow all Vegas Hotels or Porno magazines to “inform” their clients their background, but not a foundation dedicated to fund and provide education and technology around the world. This situation is sad but I will respect your policies.

Articles for deletion nomination of Eurocsys

edit

I have nominated Eurocsys, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Eurocsys. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Pickbothmanlol 00:23, 26 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Eurocsys

edit

A tag has been placed on Eurocsys, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the

Thanks for discussing this David, but you do not have to abandon your efforts at Wikipedia yet. There were a number of problems leading to the demise of the Eurocsys article. First it was largely a copy off another web site. This is counted as a copyright problem here. Even if you have permission to copy, the text has the wrong style. This is an encyclopedia here. I removed the copied bits of the article you wrote, but it was deleted anyway by someone else as being promotional. The next issue was the promotional tone, which also can be fixed by rewriting it. The last issue is whether the topic was notable. Have other people written about it? If you can show two independent reliable references then it should pass the notability test. What I would suggest you do is to create a page at User:Mahen13/Eurocsys, this is called a userspace draft. Then get some opinions on it before moving it. The AFD debate did not finish, so the result is not yet final. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 21:31, 17 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
